Meal Planning Week 1

With the festivities of the holidays over, it’s time for most of us to get back into regular work routines, household schedules, after school activities and MEAL PLANNING.   Love it, hate it, or just have to do it (I personally love it), it’s definitely helpful to have a plan and I’m here to help.  January Meal Plan Week 1 is here, and there will be 51 more of these in 2020!!

Why is Meal Planning Helpful?

  • Saves time
  • Reduces wasted food

  • Get’s you trying new recipes

You can use these FREE WEEKLY meal plans, or browse the Love on a Plate Web Site, create an account and make your own.  Not everyone eats the same,  there are dietary restrictions, picky eaters, smaller families, and so many other variables.

Meal Planning Tools & Printables

If using a Pre-made Meal Plan isn’t for you,  we have a FREE Meal Planning Pick & Choose printable full of inspirational ideas to help you build your own as well.    These Free Weekly & Monthly Printables are also super popular, and help keep things organized if you’re a pen and paper person like me.

January Meal Plan Week 1; tips and tricks

All the recipes this week are one’s we’ve made before that don’t require too much prep work.  I will Meal Prep on Sunday to make things a little easier.   The Ravioli Casserole & Cheesy Chicken Noodle Casserole will be made ahead and stored in the fridge.   I’ll also prep all the vegetable and the sauce for Kung Pao Chicken and steam the rice.   I’ll spend about an hour total in the kitchen but I’ll be ready for my week ahead.
