Egg LOAF, yes it sounds strange, but believe me, keep reading. It’s a super simple, fast, genius way to prepare eggs for egg salad. There is NO peeling. Yes, I said NO peeling.
This is GAME changing folks! Even though eggs made in the Instant Pot are definitely much easier to peel than those that are boiled on the stove top, this is one step better.
Crack your eggs into an oven proof dish, set into the Instant Pot, cook 5 minutes. Do pressure release. Invert cooked egg “loaf” onto a paper towel lined plate and let cool fully.
Use this Genius Instant Pot Egg Salad Hack anytime you need hard boiled eggs for Egg Salad, Cobb Salad, Chopped Salad or Deviled Egg Dip. Really any recipe that requires boiled eggs to be chopped or mashed is so much easier this way.
